He notes that the incredible financial upheaval that hit the insurance industry during the third quarter of 2008 went on without interference during the fourth quarter. This occurred as the downturn in the economy continued to gain momentum and while the various financial markets were stumbling.

Paulson Jr. temporarily suspend regulations that are currently forcing seniors to withdraw money from retirement accounts.
